May 6th, 2012 - Sasha & Nathan’s Wedding Day

I would like to extend a huge thank you to our most recent clients, Sasha & Nathan.  I had the privilege of working with this couple over the last couple of months and their beautiful wedding day was on Saturday (5th).  Seeing the love that these two share for each other, and how everything came together for them yesterday, was truly heartwarming.  I will be blogging soon about how the day went and sharing some photos, but I wanted to post a quick THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to a truly wonderful couple.  I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, and I can’t thank you enough for asking me to be a part of your day.

March 19th, 2012 – Dream Dresses Sale & The Scarlett Soiree

On Friday, I had the privelage of attending The Scarlett Soiree, a networking and fundraising event for Saskatoon business women that was put on by The Little Red Dress Club.  Over $4000 was raised for the Campbell Homes Pink House Campaign for the Saskatoon Breast Health Centre.  Thank you ladies, for putting on such an amazing and heartwarming event.  Be sure and check out our blog for more information and photos of this evening.

Also, a thank you to all of the Brides that stopped by our booth at yesterday’s Dream Dresses sale and trade show.  Congrats to Nadine and Amanda, who were both winners in our door prize draw.  It was such a great day being able to watch so many brides leave with their dream wedding gown in their arms.

December 1st, 2011 - 2011 in Review

With 2011 coming to a close, we would like to take this chance to say a big THANK YOU to all of our clients and vendors for a fantastic year.  We wish you all the best for a happy holiday season and an amazing 2012!  We have some big things coming up for 2012, and cannot wait to share them with you.

2011 was a great year.  Our blog is now up and running and we’ve had the privelage of featuring some great vendors, tips and tricks, as well as the events that we’ve worked on.  If you haven’t already, please check it out and subscribe at: http://asignatureexperience.wordpress.com.

Our owner had a busy year.  Jennifer completed three new courses in the Event Planning field.  The courses completed were:  Ecologically Conscious Wedding Coordinator (CECWC designation), Serve It Right (designed to teach the rules and regulations regarding sale and consumption of alcohol in Saskatchewan), and a Blogging for Small Business course.

As well, our company has joined several different local organizations.  We have renewed our membership with Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan, and have now also become members of Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE) and the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce.  We are also still proud Alumni members of the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC).
